Tarik's and Rico's Rhythm Lab brings you a special event this Friday, July 20th at the Kitty Cat Klub located in Minneapolis. With performances from Rhymesayer’s Los Nativos, MC/Spoken Word artist Toki Wright, Reggae artist Pee-Wee Dread, and on the wheels of steel DJs Derrick Delite and Rhythm Lab’s Don Cuco.
On July 21st, the Minnesota Center for Photography is collaborating with Juxtaposition Arts to combine the urban arts of hip-hop to create a real-time aerosol mural in MCP’s parking lot to celebrate north Minneapolis east and west of the Interstate.
FREE day-time activities will be from 1-5 p.m. Daytime activities will include hands-on interactive demonstrations from MCP, Northern Clay Center, Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Textile Center, zine artist J. Gerlach, Juxtaposition Arts, and hip-hop dance instruction with Mr. Worm. It will be held at MCP at 165 NE 13th St. Minneapolis, MN 55413
At 5 p.m. the $10 admission charge will begin for the live concert hosted by AQUAHAWK featuring acts:
